At Healing Arts Therapy, we believe that healing happens through authentic connection, curiosity, and compassion. We're excited to welcome Erica Goldsmith, LCSW, to our team—a therapist and clinical supervisor whose warmth, depth, and decades of experience make them an incredible resource for our community.
For more than 20 years, Erica has dedicated their career to supporting individuals and families throughout Oregon. Beginning in early childhood education and family and
human services after earning undergraduate degrees from the University of Oregon, Erica developed a strong foundation in understanding how relationships, environments, and life experiences shape who we become. They later earned a Master of Social Work from Pacific University and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2016.
Erica is deeply passionate about helping people reconnect with their strengths and build lives that feel meaningful and authentic. They have a special love for supporting therapists and other helping professionals, as well as individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, and major life transitions. In addition to providing therapy, Erica offers clinical supervision for licensure-track clinicians and enjoys mentoring new
therapists, students, and interns as they grow into confident, compassionate professionals.
Their therapeutic approach is rooted in Humanistic, Attachment, Person-Centered, and Systems theories, while thoughtfully integrating somatic practices, mind-body awareness, and energy psychology. When it aligns with a client's values and interests, Erica also incorporates Jungian concepts, shadow work, tarot imagery, archetypal exploration, and spiritual reflection as meaningful pathways toward self-understanding and healing.
Above all, Erica believes that healing begins with feeling safe, understood, and genuinely seen. Therapy is never one-size-fits-all, and they work collaboratively with each client to create a space that honors their unique story, strengths, and goals. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or simply seeking a deeper connection with themselves, Erica strives to provide a space that is both compassionate and empowering.
Outside the therapy office, Erica enjoys exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, tending their garden, traveling, attending live music, and spending time with their partner, children, and beloved animals. They believe that healing extends beyond the therapy room and that time in nature, creativity, and meaningful relationships are essential parts of living a balanced life.
We are honored to have Erica join the Healing Arts Therapy community and look forward to the wisdom, compassion, and authenticity they bring to our clients and our team.
Welcome, Erica! We're so grateful you're here.
